Reviews

We recently made the decision to begin self-managing The Dreaming Tree, which means we’re starting fresh with reviews on the rental sites and our own (this) website.

We’re excited to welcome new and returning guests, create new memories, and earn new reviews along the way.

The reviews shared here were earned prior to switching to self-management. We look forward to sharing new reviews as they come in!

“This house was a perfect spot for our family trip to Door County! When we first arrived, a whole fam of deer and wild turkeys greeted us in the forest. It was so nice to be tucked away in the quiet wilderness. As far as the home, it had everything we needed.  I was surprised to see so many thoughtful accommodations for families with small children- including a gate for the stairs and a high chair. The hot tub was perfect for my husband and I to enjoy our own time while our son napped. The location was wonderful- close to The Farm and a short drive to some of DC's best spots. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!”

“Great space for a trip with my kids and my parents. Very comfortable and homey. Loved being in the woods and the hot tub!”

- Karin (Oak Creek, WI)

“This home is beautiful and had everything we needed for a great weekend. Loved the hot tub and the cozy lights. Great location also. I would definitely recommend it and would love to stay here again someday. Thank you !”

- Denise (Location not shared)

We had a great stay, it was perfect for our family of 5 and dog. The location is very peaceful and private surrounded by trees. The house is exactly as described. It was a little too cold to make use of the fire pit but we took advantage of the hot tub which was incredibly relaxing.

There are many wineries in town to check out and it's close to the State Parks. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and we would love to come back again during the summer months.
